also make sure, to run the right utilities. like if you run only traps against the dredge fractal, its your fault if you die due to ranged attacks. get that wall of reflection in.

don't forget to spam f1, these blinds are pretty good.

But to be honest, i am quite surprised that you have troubles as a dragonhunter with that many defenses and that damn big burst damage. pulling stuff together may help more sometimes, so if you don't have any mesmer around, consider to take the great sword in one slot for the pull (and symbol + whirl damage). with that, the elite trap and the scepter you should be able to burst down everything with your group before they even can do anything else.
